LUMI storage outage 15-22 September

From September 15th, the LUMI system will be unavailable as we will update the software on all the parallel filesystems. We are reserving a whole week for this operation, meaning the system will be back on September 22nd. However, we are hoping to be able to get the system back before that date. 

During this maintenance break, no part of LUMI will be available. The update should not affect any user data on the filesystems. We will make a maintenance reservation to ensure no jobs are running when the service break starts. Shorter jobs may run before the break if they can finish before the start of the maintenance.

Besides, LUMI-C different partitions have reopened after the slingshot network restart last Tuesday, September 6th, but please note that the network is still unstable. Therefore, HPE is still carrying out work on the GPU-based pilot and eap partitions.
