All LUMI users to re-approve the LUMI terms of use https://my.csc.fi/terms before Sunday 12 April, 23:59 EEST (22:59 CEST)

A new version of the LUMI General Terms of Use is published here: https://lumi-supercomputer.eu/termsandpolicies/ together with updated LUMI Export restrictions and sanctions and LUMI Resource cut-off policy documents.
The main change concerns the responsibility of the users regarding the use of LUMI services in compliance with any applicable laws including international law, export restrictions, sanctions and other restrictions, and any applicable regulations and license terms.
In order to agree to adhere to the new terms of use, as well as the content of the export restrictions and sanctions annexed to them, all LUMI users are asked to re-approve the LUMI terms of use here: https://my.csc.fi/terms before Sunday 12 April, 23:59 EEST (22:59 CEST) or you will lose your access to LUMI.
Regular users (with a non‑Finnish allocation) should sign in to the terms of use acceptance page using their MyAccessID credentials, while users with a Finnish allocation should sign in to the terms of use acceptance page using their MyCSC credentials to accept the new terms of use.
  1. Please note that if you have two LUMI accounts—one authenticated through MyCSC and another through MyAccessID—you must re‑approve the terms of use for each account separately. This means signing in to the terms of use acceptance page once with your preferred MyCSC authentication method and once with the MyAccessID authentication method. If these accounts have been merged, you only need to re‑approve the terms of use once, using your preferred MyCSC authentication method.
  2. If the PI of your LUMI project doesn’t approve the new LUMI terms of use in time, the whole project will be put on hold until the terms of use are approved by the PI. Don’t hesitate to contact your PI in order to ensure that they approve the terms of use in time so that you can continue to use LUMI without any interruption.
Please contact the LUMI User Support Team if you face any issues. Thank you.
When: before Sunday 12 April, 23:59 EEST (22:59 CEST)
