[Information] Urgent maintenance on Monday 2 November from 07:00 to 21:00 CET (08:00 to 22:00 EET)

Please be informed that urgent, unplanned maintenance will take place on LUMI on Monday 2 November from 07:00 to 21:00 CET (08:00 to 22:00 EET) to patch a Linux kernel vulnerability.

A reservation is already in place on the compute nodes for this period, so jobs that would overlap with the maintenance window will not start until it ends. The login nodes will be rebooted during the day and will become available again as soon as possible.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to keep the system secure.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the LUMI User Support Team
